Replacing it with a SureFlow 100Psi pump. my last Aquamist pump (#3) went out in June. I contacted Aquamist and they were/are/can replace it free of charge under warranty. But I have declined. As HakenTT will LOVE to tell you, my system is not working and has been removed. I am pulling my engine and doing a full highcompression/Custom Turbo build. I have 99% of my parts in my possession. All that is left is specing/buying the Turbos. I decided the water injection system can wait until I install the motor. (i've only drive the car a day or two a month right now). So there is no reason to 'fix' the water injection system. :Seems like thats the weak link in the Aquamist setup. BTW are you using the upgraded injector driver? Not aware of the upgraded one... I've remained out of that loop since we developed the first one. I'll be getting the Sure flow pump, some more water nozzles, and the newest injector driver. (only $200.oo more worth of bits... not bad considering the 6+ grand I've spent on boxes, not including turbos.)
"Long story short my boost guage was off i think a couple psi and then the bulb went out on it that night. So I used a flashlight to read what my boost was. Looked like 19 pounds, but I guess I was wrong. Then to top it off, I was bouncing off the rev limiter and powershifted to third. And then the big boom. To my amazement, the next morning it acutlly started!!!! then I shut it off a couple secs later it was killing me to hear what it sounded like." - Posted by: hot90tt(underconstruction) on January 19, 2004 at 11:15 AM |
